Meesha Shafi is a famous model, actor, and singer of Pakistan. In 2018, Meesha Shafi accused actor, Ali Zafar of sexual harassment, during the #MeToo movement wave. The court dismissed her case on technical grounds, citing she was not an employee and was not covered by the workplace harassment act.

The case is still going on. Meesha Shafi shared the scenario of Lahore court. She has given her full and final statement.

She tweeted, “Lahore Sessions Court this morning. Charming scenario. Gave my full and complete statement. If this was about fame or greed, or running away, I wouldn’t be here today. I could’ve easily be sitting in front of my fireplace in Toronto with my beautiful children, uff miss them"

A lot was said about this controversy with the industry being divided in their opinion. So far, Ali Zafar seems to have the higher hand in the eyes of the Law.

Hamza Ali Abbasi has scored a gem! According to Google at least!

Pakistanis went into a frenzy when actor cum host Hamza Ali Abbasi announced his wedding with actress Naimal Khawar Khan back in summers this year. The two tied the knot in August and now, according to Google’s recently released yearly list of most searched Pakistani celebrity of 2019, Naimal Khawar Khan, ex actress, an artist and Hamza Ali Abbasi’s wife has taken the top spot.

Late actor Waheed Murad took up the second spot on the list while cricketer Babar Azam, who happened to have had a fantastic year landed the 3rd spot.

The loved series of Khuda aur Mohabbat is coming back on the screens with its third season with Feroze Khan, Iqra Aziz and Junaid khan in the lead cast. The series written by Hashim Nadeem has always gained love from the audience. The drama that was first aired in 2011 was a huge hit.

The first season that Imran Abbas and Sadia Khan in the lead cast are still loved and missed by the audiences and they want them back in the third season too. The third season’s story however has no connection to the first two seasons and is completely new.

Atif Aslam denies the rumour of singing the PSL 5 anthem. The news has been doing rounds over the internet for a few days now that the singer will be singing for the new PSL season. 

But his PR team has denied the rumours by issuing the following statement on his Facebook handle:

“This is to inform you all that Atif is not a part of PSL 2020 and any rumours regarding him signing the PSL anthem are fake,” the post stated.

It further read, “Fans, kindly wait for the verification of every news by the official management before spreading it. We also request the media to confirm Atif’s related news for any project from Atif’s management before publishing it”.

His fans however, were very excited about the news. As, the last season’s anthem sung by Fawad Khan did not get very popular among the masses. The first two sung by Ali Zafar were however very popular.
